§ 1: Alldeliveries shall be made exclusively in accordance with the following terms and conditions of contract and delivery. These terms and conditions are deemed accepted no later than upon acceptance of the shipment.
§ 2: Contractual Terms or Conclusion of the Contract:
1) After we—Verlag Heiko Bittmann (Heiko Bittmann Publishing)—receive an order, the purchaser will receive an email (or other notification) containing the details of the payment terms. The purchase contract is concluded only when the purchaser has made payment (prepayment) and the goods have been shipped by Verlag Heiko Bittmann, at the purchaser’s risk.
2) For orders paid by credit card, the terms and conditions of “WooCommerce” apply, at the purchaser’s own risk.
3) Orders placed through bookstores will be processed with a fixed invoice and a flat shipping fee, at the purchaser's risk.
4) Heiko Bittmann Publishing and its authors assume no liability for any damages resulting from the direct or indirect use of the content of its products. Other claims by the purchaser—except for copies that exhibit clear manufacturing defects—are also excluded, regardless of the legal basis.
5) Minors are not permitted to purchase products from Verlag Heiko Bittmann (Heiko Bittmann Publishing).
§ 3: Delivery:
1) For direct orders placed with Verlag Heiko Bittmann (Heiko Bittmann Publishing), delivery will be made only after prepayment and with an invoice, to the delivery address specified by the purchaser, at the purchaser’s risk.
2) Delivery is made upon order via credit card through “WooCommerce,” in accordance with the terms specified there, to the shipping address provided by the purchaser, at the purchaser’s risk.
3) Deliveries to bookstores will be billed on a fixed-price invoice plus a flat shipping fee, to the delivery address specified by the purchaser, at the purchaser's risk.
4) The following applies to all deliveries: Items damaged or lost in transit will not be replaced or exchanged by the publisher, Verlag Heiko Bittmann.
5) We reserve the right to determine whether we can fulfill the order.
§ 4: Terms of Payment:
1) Generally, when ordering directly from Verlag Heiko Bittmann (Heiko Bittmann Publishing), prepayment is required. Upon receipt of the agreed-upon amount, the order will be shipped within 2–4 business days.
2) For orders paid by credit card, the terms and conditions of “WooCommerce” apply.
3) For bookstores, the following applies: Invoices, plus the flat rate for shipping and handling, are payable in full within 14 days of the invoice date.
4) If the customer is in default, Verlag Heiko Bittmann (Heiko Bittmann Publishing) shall be entitled to charge interest from the relevant date at the rate charged by commercial banks for open overdrafts.
§ 5: Complaints:
If no complaint is made within 8 days of receipt of the shipment, Verlag Heiko Bittmann (Heiko Bittmann Publishing) will assume that the shipment is in order with respect to the goods and the invoice issued. Complaints received after this time will not be accepted.
§ 6: Warranty:
Items with obvious manufacturing defects will be replaced free of charge.
§ 7: Remissions:
Returns will not be accepted without written permission from Verlag Heiko Bittmann (Heiko Bittmann Publishing).
§ 8: Retention of title:
The delivered goods remain the property of Verlag Heiko Bittmann (Heiko Bittmann Publishing) until full payment has been made.
